What "hasn't happened yet" is that any tax due is not reportable or payable until 2025. But the liability started on 1 January 2024. Many people listening to the "don't panic" head-in-the-sands mob, will not understand this. They could still make right or wrong decisions that affect their liability, if they don't know about it. So guys like you and Starkey add nothing, and provide a totally false sense of "don't panic, it'll be ok" 🙄

They will be identical. The only possible reason for wiring separate ones for DL, buy a bike, open bank account is so they can charge you another 300 baht and provide you with a day of entertainment while you get them. Actually for a bank, they ask which bank and address it to the bank, so it can be quite useful persuading the bank to open the account

Dentists are less expensive here than in the west, for sure. But comparatively, those in Bangkok cost the most closely followed by Pattaya (and maybe other cities with many foreign visitors and residents, I don't know). Take advice from those who have used particular dentists, of course. But if you find one recommended in a smaller town, or a regional location, you could get the same work done at less cost.

If you want an account in your sole name, I don't understand why they need your marriage certificate. Try another bank, or even another branch of the same bank
