Hey guys! DTV question - I own a company/ am self employed. I have read several posts where people have mentioned they had to provide a letter confirming they work remotely. Since I own the company and am the director, what exactly do I write in this letter? And do I address this to the embassy in question? Thanks in advance!

TLDR : Answer Summary
As a self-employed individual applying for a visa, you'll need to write a letter confirming your remote work. It's suggested to address the letter to the specific embassy you're applying to, such as the London Embassy. In the letter, you should describe your company, its operations, and how your role allows you to work remotely. Additionally, obtaining letters from major clients verifying your remote work situation can strengthen your application. Some applicants have also successfully used letters from their accountants and evidence of company registration to support their claims.
I applied on Friday as freelance. I wrote a cover letter linking my portfolio and wrote a small paragraph explaining what i do. I’ve not had any response yet obviously, but i’m eager to see what response i do get.
I was in the same position. RTE London: I wrote a letter to them from myself the company MD explaining what the company did and how it allowed me to work remotely.
People in your position have said they got a major client (or two) to write letters saying they are aware you work remotely and they are comfortable with this
