I have an AIS pay as I go plan. I top up with ฿300 and that lasts me for a month. Honestly, that's all I need from a phone plan. I have all the data I need and I use my phone to tether.
the New York Thai embassy? I'm curious because I think that I'm going to have to go through them when I return next year. I'm from Brooklyn. I'm just hoping that I can have the money in the bank to prove it by the time it comes to do my application. my cards don't have fees, that's not what I'm referencing. I'm referencing the 3% fee that the merchant/store owners in Thailand tack on for you using a card instead of cash or QR code.
Cashless payments via QR code and seamless bank transfers. It makes paying for things a lot more convenient than always carrying a wad of cash or paying a fee just to use your credit card.
