First entry on 20th Jun after getting my DTV approved on 17th May. It took me literally 2 min to go thru inmigration in Bangkok. Showed my DTV (printed copy), alongside passport and TDAC to thw officer. No questions asked. Allowed to stay until 16th dec. Will leave earlier than that for business reasons, but it feels so good not to worry about length of my stay for the first time ever.

Did you apply yourself or with an agency? I need to apply this week and there’s so many different agencies with the range of prices. I’m currently in Bangkok. Any advice is appreciated.
Anonymous participant 461 true. I really feel this visa will not survive on its current form. It does no matter what visa you are on 180 days stamp stay beats the rest anyday anytime with limited paperwork involved. The requirements are also fairly easy to put together. The priviledge/spouse/investment even retirement are more formal processes and MORE DOCUMENTS NEEDED AND EXTRA FORMALITIES. You do get with those a bank account. But im fine with wise and the other digital wallets so the bank account is not a must have for us at this point🙏
true my bad we travel so often that i never had to worry about this reporting. 180 days is the allowance stay which again had nothing to do with the reporting. I will fix the comment thank you for the headsup ☝️
