Dear All,

I have a question regarding the upload documents for applying the 60-day tourist visa. I will apply this in my home country-Hong Kong. For below 2 upload request, is it both need to upload my Hong Kong Identity Card please? As I am not sure for Item 7. Thank you so much.

7 . Confirmation of legal residence in a country in which you are applying for the visa. (In case that you are not a national of the country in which you are applying for the visa.)

9 . Applicant must apply for e-Visa via specific Embassy/Consulate conforming with his/her consular jurisdiction and residency. Applicant is required to upload document that can verify his/her current residency.

Hi

I want to make Thai drivers license for scooter.

I talked to some agencies already.

I saw here some posts you can go to an agency and they will help you get all the paper work bring you to pass the exam etc.

Well I cannot find any agency offering this service.

Can anybody recomend a agency in Pattaya offers the service.

I am pretty helpless and Google does not help me either.

And I don't want to do it myself I don't have problems paying an agency as I am helpless and don't have the energy to do it on my own.

Looking for tourist e-visa advice for US citizens.

After getting to the final document-dump page of the e-visa application, I had questions about several of them. The main questions concern how to do these for our minor children (11 and 13 years old).

#3: Declaration: Do I sign the declaration for them? They can't legally sign something like this in the US.

#5: Proof of accommodation/invitation letter: We are renting a house that is owned by an expat living in Thailand. She has never had to write an invitation letter before. What needs to go in that letter?

#6: Financial evidence: again, what to upload for my children's application? My financial documents, or a letter I wrote saying they are my children?

#7: Confirmation of residence if not applying in country of residence: I don't know why this is an obligatory upload. I'm a US citizen applying to the Chicago consulate, so this question doesn't apply to me but I have to upload something.

#8: Travel records: Do they want pictures of every stamp page in my passport, or just the ones with stamps in them?

#9: Document confirming residency for application to consulate: again, what to upload for kids?

Thanks for any help! I used the search function and didn't find answers for the e-visa system, so my apologies if these have been answered before!

Another (quick) TM30 query... So, I'm about to mail in my first ever TM30 in 14 years to Chaengwattana. Application in my Landlady's name, signed by her and with all the signed documents. I and my family are individually listed on the back, together with copies of my passport ID page, TM6, Extension stamp and the same for my wife and 4 year-old. My query is that there seems to only be one tear-off return receipt. In case of one of the infamous condo raids, shouldn't we each get a receipt to keep in our passports?

I am US citizen, with non-immigrant OA retirement Visa. I am on my second year and it expires October 15 2019. I am returning to the US today (I do have a re-entry permit dated for Oct 15 2019). When I return to Thailand in 6 weeks will they want to see a return flight out of Thailand? (I will be marrying in June and will have my required 400k baht in the bank well before the 3 months.) i will be staying long term after my return. Is my OA retirement Visa ok for not having a return flight? Should I bring my Yellow Book as proof of residency?

Thank you

Good morning all.

I posted a few weeks back to ask for guidance on moving from a Visa Exempt entry to a Non-Immigrant O Visa (to be obtained in Thailand), then moving to a 1 year extension based on retirement

Robert advised to visit the local Immigration Office and ask for requirements.

I did this, and partner and I today submitted our applications for the Non-Immigrant O Visa (1st stage) and I thought I would share my experience and of course thank Robert for his advice and along with his colleagues, thank him for providing a well-run and helpful Facebook group ā€“ THANK YOU !
