I didn't see it when I was there 2 weeks ago. Best to get them done first and photocopy your passport AND the stamp in your passport which you would have received on arrival into Thailand.

Tourist visa from Thai Embassy nearest you then extend by one more month halfway thru your trip for 1900B each at Thai Immigration. End up with 90 days. Thats about the best I can think of off top of my head.

I opened an account at Krungsri with a 3-month lease copy and my passport. Also mention that you are going to buy a condo sometime and will be transfering the $$ from abroad to your new bank account. Lay it on thick. Also tell them you will be needing insurance..lots of. They will bend right over for you.😏
