TLDR : Answer Summary
The conversation revolves around recommendations for insurance companies that can cover the health insurance requirement for the OA visa in Thailand. Respondents suggest various companies such as Axa and Pacific Cross, along with discussing alternatives like pursuing the O visa without the health insurance stipulation. Some emphasize that while health insurance is advisable, it does not need to be specifically linked to the visa process, allowing for more flexibility in choosing policies.

I recently documented, on my Travel Blog, the process as it applies in the United Arab Emirates. You may find some useful tips there as the process should be similar around the world. Good Luck 🇹🇭🙏🏻

I had an OA for 6 years. These days I would recommend pursuing an O visa without the health insurance requirement. I’m not saying you shouldn’t have health insurance but only that it doesn’t have to be tied to your visa and it may allow you more flexibility in the policy you choose.

The only reason I can think of is that you want to keep your money in your home country bank and you plan to return to your home country every 1-2 years to apply for a new OA visa.

Hey I just checked out AXA for the OA and they quoted 7600B for one years cover. That seems very cheap. I've heard of people being quoted
