I'm in Thailand on an O-A visa which expires 06 January 2020 however the airport Immigration stamp says admitted until 20 January. I'm departing Thailand December 14 for an overseas trip and I want to take advantage of the extra year that is available when I return to Thailand in January 2020. Which date out of the two above do I have to take note of? I have a feeling it is the first one, 06 January?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The traveler is currently in Thailand on an O-A visa set to expire on January 6, 2020, while their immigration stamp allows them to remain until January 20, 2020. They seek clarification on which expiration date they should heed when planning to return to Thailand after traveling abroad on December 14, 2019, to potentially utilize the one-year extension upon re-entry.
