TLDR : Answer Summary
Yes, it is still possible to go to Cambodia and apply for a 60-day tourist visa for Thailand. Visitors can apply directly at the Thai embassy in Phnom Penh, which typically charges around $40 and requires 2-3 business days for processing. Alternatively, using a visa agent may cost around $60 with a processing time of 3-5 days. However, applicants should be prepared to show sufficient funds, as some agents may require bank statements showing at least $1000 in the account for three months.

I hear Vietnam are bringing back their 3-month e-visa shortly. Announcement due around 23 May.

Yes but can take a week they want to see funds in your bank accounts my girl is Khmer and she used a agent in siem reap cost $80 and had to show at least $1000 in her bank account I believe for 3 months
Much better to get it done on your own, unless an agent can get you out of the obligation to show certain paperwork and/or ensures you receive the visa you're applying for.
True; BUT in nov my Cambodian partner needed her tourist visa for Thailand< as we lived in Kep. it was worth the $80 vs travelling to PP back and forth 2 times ๐
and often the agents can "ease" some requirements ..
