A long message to justify your position. It's not with any malice it's just common sense to check where you apply what the turn around time is. I did the same l had 5 days with weekend and a holiday l was happy to submit my application and travel around laos for a few days. Like l said it's something you have to factor when applying at any government office even in your own country.

It doesn't matter when how where you enter Thailand on a DTV. You have the 5 year visa approved already. It's the person's mindset especially all the travellers that did multiple visa exempt entries prior they are used to being questioned about scamming immagration system. DTV is different answers minimal and first speak if not spoken to simple

Why would there be a problem? Immagration want to know where you stay period
