what policy are you talking about. If it was a policy you would not be able to book a one way ticket. Also it would be uniform across all travelers from Canada which by these comments it is not. Maybe it's just you they are stopping 555

why you can do it. Don't be a lazy person who likes to feed sharks. These agents pray on this behaviour. More money than sense my mum used to say 🤣🤣🤣

Why do you ask this question? Is it related to something else you need to know? Like clothes to bring or do l need a car? Rain is here all the time depends on where you are and how you deal with it. It can rain so heavy but stop in 10 minutes. I never let rain worry me if you get wet you are dry pretty quick.just be adaptable. You may be late for meeting just sit in a coffee shop until rain stops .

l have been traveling for 20 years and always purchase one way ticket. I have only been asked once and l said l will travel and meet friends l will decide when and how l travel to my next destination. It may be before my visa expires. Why should l have to book a return to my country or any other. It's a free world l can travel where and when l want. Never had a problem. It is how you speak if you are asked the question. They are obviously worried you will overstay or live there. But you are a tourist and you can come and go as you want. We are still living in a free world.

Yellow book is handy to have it's proof of your residency in Thailand. Thais have a blue book for their house with all residents on it farang has a yellow book. It's a prerequisite for you to get your pink thai Id card which is actually very handy you can use that for many things without needing your passport all the time, like at hotels some national parks give you Thai prices.gives you some more status than using your wife or gf all the time. Cost is not much but a process tipically slow but you have a right as a resident. Sometimes the office doesn't know what it is but keep cool and they will help you eventually

6 years is long ago in Thailand the immagraiton rules have changed so much. You get 60 days on arrival. You can travel anywhere you want and a few days before your 60 day visa expires go to any immigration office and get another 30 days. Pay 1900 bht and off you go. The hotel where you are staying is all you need with a current photo. Bingo off you go enjoy the land of smiles 😁

exactly best to rent everything when you first come to live here. Allows you to settle in and you can see what you like and don't like them make some permanent arrangements. So many basic things to do first and it's not like at home drivers license,Thai id etc. many make the mistake of big spend first up and regret it. Leave your options open would be my suggestion. But there is no one size fits all don't worry about your budget initially just enjoy your environment
