If you haven't already read it; The book "Thailand Fever" is a requirement!
Don't pass it by. It can help save years on your life, many tears and dollars. Couples should read it anything else; the book is written concurrently and thai in English.
I'm attempting to get a copy of the online TM30 from the residence where I'm staying. The online application at their office doesn't seem to have an option to print the TM30. Also, there's only a ledger of my basic visa info. - see pics- The hotel just opened a few days ago and don't know which category to select for my Visa.
I.e., I came in on a TR30 then converted to Non-O retirement.
Im asking:
1. Which category do they need to select for me ( it's in Eng/Thai)?
2. Is a camera shot of the ledger page suitable for use for a certificate of residence? To be used to purchase a purchase and register a motorbike.
My advice is to check out CMULI in Chiang Mai. I'm not sure if they're only hiring graduates of their TEFL program.
Their visa support is excellent.
As a TEFL graduate there, I was offered employment, visa etc. The class is only about 3 to 4 weeks, and would be invaluable if you have never taught in Thailand. The professors are top-notch.
Just keep in mind that the shipping is Kerry, and the tracking system is not reliable and has errors, but it WILL arrive in about 3 days. Used them twice.
I only mentioned this because, both times the Kerry app said they are trying to call me, and had to reschedule the delivery.
But in fact, I never received any calls and the phone number was correct on my end and TVC. Shouldn't be anything to worry about..
