TLDR : Answer Summary
The Pattaya immigration office can process 30-day visa exemption applications around 1pm, but there may be a queue. Some users suggest arriving earlier to avoid waiting, as applications might take longer if submitted later in the day. It's advisable to complete your forms in advance and ensure you have all necessary documents ready to expedite the process.

I decided to go in the morning just after a downpour. So at 7:00 a.m., I was the first one there in queue. With in minutes the queue was stacking.

hour queue, 1 hour for processing and until receiving stamp.

Tip: Remember to write your phone number, even if it's not asked in the form field.

Otherwise, others may slide in front of you at the kiosk inside as you write it in!

I was there on Friday just after 1pm and there was no queue.

Tip

I always complete my forms at home and photo copying before going to immigration including my telephone number.

it depends on how many people there are, I was last Thursday at 2.15 pm with all the documents ready and I got the covid extension in just 5 minutes, luckily I had no one before of me in the 2 extensions counters

I thought it most probable I'd be asked to return in the morning, regardless. But I was hoping I wouldn't have to queue a second time.

If you go at 1pm they will most likely do the first half of the process which is to check where you have been staying in the area and give you the forms to fill in and come back the next day

If you go in the morning they will do the above and ask you to come back After dinner

Yes, I can. But It's helpful to learn from others experience, and adds to the threads for other members. Especially, if it's not specifically, a redundant question. πŸ™‚
