My advice, don’t invest in anything in Thailand that you can’t afford to lose and walk away from .

, In Chiang Mai, and it could very well be completely different in other provinces, I’ve been required to have an original RC be it for Immigration, when I opened my bank account (they kept the original) and for DLT to obtain a driving licence, just check John with your local offices first, that’s all I would say mate 👍

you can do car and motorbike at the same time, providing you have your home country licence showing you are already qualified for both, if you have an IDP, then you are not required to carry out a practical test, just show you’re not colour blind when it comes to traffic lights 😉 if you don’t have a licence to ride a motorbike on your current home licence, and you do buy a motorcycle then you will need to carry out a practical and computer/video based exam

30 days and one time use only, if you need to carry out various things, for example, open a bank account, you need an original, driving licence you need an original, you can’t use photo copies , you basically need a new up to date RC for most things legal

Can you not ask your GP to give you three months worth of prescription and bring your meds with you ?
