... understood Benjamin . Bottom line ... forget about the 30 day rule at the moment , just turn up when you only have 1,2 or 3 days left on your previous renewal stamp .

... ok... so the previous 30 -45 days that we had to go to CW for our “ under consideration “ stamp is now reduced to 3 days? Quite a significant change . Maybe they’ll do away with “under consideration “ stamp and just give you the 12 months providing paperwork is in order . Makes sense if they’re trying to reduce visits .

Very good question . Has the old system of just doing a “ walk in “ for an extension on a non o 30 days prior to expiry changed or not ?

Can I apply for a Non-Immigration O visa in Thailand after entering on a visa exemption?

Not sure if this helps but last year I was in Uk ... visa about to expire ... I had to apply fir the COE and you get 90 days . Once in Thailand after the quarantine period , you apply as normal for the 1 year one month before the expiry of the 90 day stamp you got in the uk.

If you’re coming up the tollway from Bangkok .... the. GPS will take you off on the impact turn . You pay your exit fee ..keep straight on at the first set of lights . Then after about 150 yards turn right ( there’s no lights) and keep going straight . It’ll take you into the area you need .

... cheers matey . To be fair , the guy on their helpline number was very apologetic , said they were still having problems and confirmed I have no choice but a personal visit .
