If this is your 2nd bounce via a land border (1st was to get your entry 2nd 45 day say they will ask a lot of questions if your trying a 3rd. Correct me if i am wrong but I thought it was 30day entry via land 45 by air

Don't forget you need a thai bank account with

0 in your account constantly) before you apply for retirement visa. You need to do some research on options. Not sure on a monthly income (pension etc) for other visas

As with the last few answers, you won't be allowed to board your flight to Thailand with nearly all airways without a return or an onward ticket.

What are the transfer fees and best methods for sending money to Thailand from the UK?

If you use wise etc you can only transfer more than 50,000 baht to Kasikorn and Bangkok Bank. Any other bank will send it back. Bank to bank for other banks, be careful
