they do all the work, filling in forms etc. You just sign, deposit a few thousand baht to open the account and around 500 baht for your debt card at the bank and your done. Just make sure the bank you join allows more than 50,000 baht per international transfer. Bangkok Bank, Kbank are the only ones that do l think.
I would say go the agent route, will save a lot of time and stress. You could end up spending a few days going from bank to bank and still have no joy. Mind you could get sorted a the 1st attempt. If that happens I would do the lottery 😁😁. Good luck
Stamp on entry free for 45 days, if you need to extend this you can get a 30 day extension at an immigration office 1900 baht, any longer will need to leave and reenter. If staying for more than that better of getting a tourist visa before entry, 60 days, can extend that for 30 days at immigration 1900 baht. Hope that helps
I would sell everything I can, plenty of websites for nearly new stuff. Then by new in Thailand (full warranty) the money you make and the cost of postage and other fees, I would say not much in the difference
Your better off spending an extra bit for better connecting flights, if you have a few pints and some food over 6 hours out and 4 hours back or so, you will be spending roughly the same price.
