They will be quite happy to fine you 2000 bht , don’t worry they won’t threaten to deport you , I think they welcome the odd fine , missed mine once about 5-6 years ago , “ I’m so sorry “ etc , no problem 2000 please 😉

But it IS a visa issue also I’d imagine , obviously you already have a yearly visa of some description .. but I guess if you’re staying in a hotel they will inform immigration for you ( via passports) and you will need to do your 90 day reports too .. unless you have money to burn which it sounds you have , yeah a

no .. what does a Thai visa extension have to do with a British or Dutch embassy ? .. you will get a 30 day visa waiver on arrival .. you can then extend that once by 30 days at ‘ Thai ‘ immigration 1,900 bht .. giving you your 60 days .. after which you’ll need to leave the country , and return , and if you flight out and fly back in you can get the 30 day visa waiver again .. or you should ..

well it can get busy any day , but Mondays and Fridays always seem to be a lot busier I find .. Tuesday / weds pm isn’t a bad idea I reckon
