You dont get 7 days to leave the Country if you've been refused entry.

It wasnt required last November in the UK. Only the OA required insuarance.

Print out the evisa. Write the visa number on your arrival card. Give the evisa to the Immigration officer with your passport. Get stamped in for 60 days.

Swings and roundabouts! Most people have insurance anyway. OA gives you nearly 2 years, no money in a Thai bank. Get the O in your home country, only 90 days, money sleeping in a Thai bank for a year(extention of stay). Both visas have pros and cons.
