I’m completing the Non-OA visa application, and have a few questions.

The application requests the “7. Foreign Insurance Certificate, as stipulated by the Office of Insurance Commission and Health Insurance of Thailand, must be completed, signed, and stamped by the insurance company. The form can be downloaded from [members only]”.

The documents provided by the insurance company provide the exact same information as required in the form, but have a slightly different appearance than the downloaded form.

Should I have the exact form completed or is the priority to provide the required information? Any idea as to what would be acceptable to the embassy?

*The other issue is that the insurance policy is 5MB instead of 3MB or smaller. “6. Health Insurance issued by a Thai or foreign insurer, covering general illnesses, including COVID-19, with a minimum insured sum of 100,000 USD or 3,000,000 THB. “*

*What are the expectations here? Do they need the entire document? Is there a reliable free app that can further downsize the original 18 page PDF? *

I used a trial of Adobe Acrobat to compress the file further. It looked terrible, so I split the original file in half and compressed each half separately and rejoined them. It's both under the 3MB limit and more legible.

Thank you in advance.

Hi All, I'm new to the group.

I’m applying for a Thai non O-A visa. [members only]

One of the requirements is to provide a ”Recent bank statement for the last three months showing the applicant's name and ending balance of no less than $30,000 or proof of monthly income of not less than $2,500/month) along with the current bank statement showing incoming income”. I meet the $2,500/month requirement, though I only had the $30,000 for two months.

The doubt is that I usually keep the vast majority invested and not in a bank account.

Would it be beneficial to include a formal document from my investment account that indicates the total amount invested? The amount is significantly higher than the requirement, amounting to 800,000 baht.

Should I wait an additional month to submit my application?

I already rented a place to live. Should I provide a copy of the documentation from the home lease?

Is the application process based solely on uploading documents to the website or are the documents mailed to the embassy?

Thank you in advance.

PS: I already have Thai health insurance, completed the background check, the health certificate, a copy of my passport, and recent photos. My lease starts August 15.

I am getting married to my Thai partner in early July and wish to retire in Thailand. I have started to an application for a non o visa and I got extremely bogged down around the fourth page asking for things like proof of medical insurance and funds in a Thai bank account as well as a medical certificate and police clearance. Am I approaching this the right way. I am from Australia. I'm sure that this kind of question has been asked repeatedly however, any constructive information would be greatly appreciated. I intend to register our marriage and apply for a spousal visa.

Retirement extension: every year I try to make a perfect application but every year I am thwarted! Today I had all the documents on the current list. 10 is a Google map of your house with lat and long. No use printing it out and writing on it. No, you need to drop a pin on it to show the lat and long. Fortunately the copy shop near room 103 could do this. Print with north to the top of the paper. Also, the photos of you in front of your house showing the house number should be printed across the page, not full page. I think this is so everything can be understood without rotating any document 90 degrees.

When I picked up the document list a couple of days ago they gave me form 2, form 9 and 11 I think which are for acknowledging that you know the penalties for contravening the terms of your extension.

However, it was effecient and helpful; only an hour from entering the bank for letter and statement until departing Immigration. Collect passport at 4pm next day.

Hello. Great service. Thanks. I have an OA visa from my home country. I will be re-entering Thailand about 7 days before expiration. I wanted to confirm that with a new 12 month health insurance certificate they will extend the visa by 12 months at the airport as I re-enter?

Appreciate the help.

Hi all, I am coming up to the end of my 1 year non-OA retirement e-visa on September 2nd. I have done all my 90 day reportings online. I have also renewed my health insurance for one more year. I live in Jomtien.

Question: Do all I need to do is do a border run to Cambodia and back to get another one year stamp? I will bring my e-Visa, 90 day reporting receipts, and proof of health insurance certificate.

My nonimmigrant multi-entry O-A visa was approved November 8, 2024 and I used it to travel to Thailand from January 2 to end of April 2024. In order to enter Thailand again on the same visa must I enter Thailand by no later than November 7, 2024 or is it valid until January 1, 2025?
