Hi, I'm from the UK

I entered Thailand on visa exemption in June, stayed 30 days and then flew to Cambodia.

I flew back after 5 days on visa exemption it had changed to 60 days so I stayed and then flew to the Philippines.

After 5 days I flew back to Thailand and stayed 60 and the extended 30.

I flew out before Christmas to korea and will return on the 2nd of January.

Do you think I will have issues entering next week?

Hi everyone! I graduated and left Thailand in the second week of December, but I wasn’t aware that I needed to cancel my Non-ED visa. Now, I’m planning to apply for a tourist e-visa to enter Thailand around March 28th, but my Non-ED visa is still valid until March 31st. Will I face any issues with this, or do I need to take any steps to resolve it before applying for the tourist e-visa? Any advice would be really appreciated!

Hi. I have a single thai savings account keeping the 800k as well as monthly xfers of 65k. I regularly draw from the 65k for living expenses with a debit card.

I would like to seperate these to 2 different accounts so the 800k is 100% safe.

If I go to the bank and ask for a second account, is it important to keep the 800k in the same account? Or will immigration accept seeing it bump over to the other account?

I ask because of the debit card - if I should request one for the new account or if they tell me to use the one card for the current account. Hope that makes sense. I will ask the same question at the bank but welcome any pointers here for immigration purposes. Thanks

When pulling trigger on 800,000 tbt equivalent from your US Bank to Thai Bank account — does the US BANK do the conversion to Thai Baht or is that done once it lands in Thai Bank? Or do both banks equally share in the cost of conversion ?

I know this has been asked many times but I am uncertain….

I have Bank Account with more than baht 800.000 over the last 5 months.

I plan to be in Thailand again by end of Feb and I would like to use the visa exempt entry (subject to the answer to my question) for the 22 months extension.

Can I apply for the 12 months non-o for pensioners with the visa exempt entry or is the 90 day Non-O Visa required?

Thanks

Hi everyone!

I’m planning to switch to the Non-Immigrant O Marriage Visa soon as I am now married to a Thai citizen with a child.

I’ll be canceling my current visa, then apply for the initial 90-day visa out of the country.

Since I don’t want to be away from my wife and child for too long, I’m trying to ensure everything is prepared and that the process is as smooth as possible. I have some questions I’d love your advice on if you’ve been through this recently:

1️⃣ E-Visa Process: Has anyone recently applied for the 90-Day Non-Immigrant O Visa through the new e-visa process? Any tips?

2️⃣ Country Choice: Should I go to Vietnam, Lao, or Cambodia to apply? Which is more efficient or hassle-free? The embassy in Vientiane says about 10 to 15 days while Ho Chi Minh City says only 5.

3️⃣ Address Details: Should I list the hotel address where I’ll stay in the country I apply in, the Thai house I’m renting, or my home country address?

Should I add my Thai home or home country as a permanent address option?

4️⃣ Intended Departure Date: Should I put the date 3 months from arrival or a year out?

5️⃣ Accommodation Type: I rent a house—should I select “Guesthouse” or “Private Property”?

6️⃣ Financial Evidence: Will an online bank statement from ibanking.bangkokbank.com work? Or should I get the bank to print it out and then scan it for upload?

7️⃣ Proof of Relationship: When I was going to apply in person they asked for a copy of the Kor. 2 from the local office, so do I need that as well or just upload my child's Thai birth certificate and original Thai marriage cert.?

When applying in person, they asked for additional documents like maps, photos of us at home, and house registration. Do I need anything else like that?

Any advice, experiences, or tips would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.
