I did a Bank Wire Transfer from the USA (Wells Fargo) to my friends Thailand bank account on November 8. It says arrival by November 20, & still has not arrived. I can’t understand why this transaction doesn’t take seconds, or even 1-2 days. Any ideas?

I'm sure this question has been asked before: what's the best option to send money from my Thai bank to my US bank? I've tried connecting them bank to bank and it never seems to go through. 🤔is it best to just use something like western union?

Wire for Real Estate purchase. Monies coming from USA. Should I wire in baht or dollars to my Thai bank? It’s giving me the option to send baht or dollars. If I do baht it shows conversion rate with total. If I send dollars it only shows it’s sending dollars. I don’t really care I just want to make sure the Thai bank recognizes the transfer as correct for used to purchase property.

This question is for any American with a Charles Schwab checking account. Can you transfer money directly to a Thai bank account without using a "middle man" like Wise? If so, how long does it take? I ask because it seems like it would be easier to just link the banks, log on and transfer. Also, if you have let Schwab know you are permanently in Thailand with a Thai address (I don't want to lie with a virtual address), how did that go? Thanks in advance!

Hello. I'm thinking to apply Non-O retirement visa with 800K method next year and my question is:

Q. I already have 800K in Thai Bank because i've been lived in chiangmai for 5 years with different visa.( Current visa will be expire next year)

Does Immigration require that 800K must be transfer from oversea( International transfer)? OR, as long as you have 800k in the thai bank, they will approve Non-O retirement visa??

I have been using Wise (Formerly TransferWise) to send money from the US to my Thai Bank account. I logged on to try to do the opposite (send THB back to my US bank account) and it is not possible yet on their website. What are the best alternatives for me to use besides Wise?

Robert Lagas, is there a way to transfer money from👋🏻

a US Bank (by Debit card) to a Thai bank to validate the extension of an “O” visa, based on marriage to a Thai?

It would be a deposit in excess of the 40,000 baht minimum per month.

Thank you
