 my ED Plus visa will expire on March 31st. I plan to enter Thailand on March 28th for 3 weeks of travel with my family, so I will need a valid visa at least until the end of April.

 they gave me ED Plus Exemption of Re-entry permit. It means that I don’t need a re-entry permit to enter Thailand. That’s why I am confused if I will face any issues if I apply for tourist visa and if I get it and enter Thailand with a tourist visa, will they charge any penalty?
