I know this has been asked many times but I am uncertain….
I have Bank Account with more than baht 800.000 over the last 5 months.
I plan to be in Thailand again by end of Feb and I would like to use the visa exempt entry (subject to the answer to my question) for the 22 months extension.
Can I apply for the 12 months non-o for pensioners with the visa exempt entry or is the 90 day Non-O Visa required?
Thanks

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user seeks clarification on whether they can apply for a 12-month Non-O visa for pensioners using a visa exempt entry or if they need to obtain a 90-day Non-O visa first. Comments indicate that the initial visa must be the 90-day Non-O, and after entering Thailand with that, the user can apply for the one-year extension based on meeting the financial requirements.
90 DAY REPORTING RESOURCES / SERVICES
Use the trusted Thailand 90 Day Reporting Serviceto get your in-person report done and mailed to you for as low as 375 THB (even if the online system doesn't work for you).

Get the 90 day non o before coming to Thailand and enter on that. Then you are all set to apply for the 12 month extension based on being over 50 when the time comes at your local immigration using your banked money.
If you apply for the initial 90 day non-o inside Thailand you will have to prove that the 800k is an international transfer into your account . Easier to apply for non -o before arrival and then extend for a further year
You’ll need to apply for a 90 days initial Non O visa in country first before you can apply for the one year extension of stay based on this visa. There’s no one year extension for visa exemption or tourist visa.
Most convenient to apply for a 90 days initial Non O visa online through the embassy/consulate that serves your current location now. You can apply only with income/pension if you fulfill the required 65K baht a month OR funds equal to 800K baht. I don’t know your nationality, but you have a typical German, Austrian or Swiss name. If that do correspond with your passport remember you can apply for the one year extension of stay in Thailand only with a affidavit letter from your embassy in Bangkok (or consulate) confirming your income equal to minimum 65K baht a month. You therefore don’t need to prove any funds in a Thaibank now or in the future.
This was all you could contribute with. Not everyone is aware of this option, so in several cases an important piece of information that many have been happy to receive.
no idea what you’re talking about I’ve been a member here for a long time and laughed at most of your replies. The only thing funnier than your English is your profile photo
