I’m on dtac and no idea whatsoever how to navigate the website or app. And it doesn’t accept any of my cards either. I’d have to go into the store. I’ll probably head there today and see about options. But, if there’s Wi-Fi on the train then I do t need to do that.

I think you coulda put this one together yourself. For me it’s because I have a limited amount of data but it could be for any number of reasons. Like if a person doesn’t have data at all. Perhaps the coverage is sparse etc.

Frankly, I don’t care where they get it from. All I care is that I’m not paying a fortune for it.

it’s funny though that most people think there is. In fact even most of the police think there is.

It’s kinda like the “international drivers license” thing.

The fact is there is no law in Thailand that you need an International Driving Permit. Just that you need a license. The IDP is just a translation of your actual license. Try telling that to a Thai police officer though. The ticket they write you is for not having a license and is exactly the same as the ticket they would write to a Thai for not having their license. It’s not a ticket for not having a IDP. It’s just become so commonly believed and accepted that even the police are convinced that if you don’t have your IDP that that’s equivalent to not having a license. And so they write you a ticket.

There is actually apparently no law or order that says they must be worn. The health minister was asked about the “law” specifically and he didn’t even know what the reporter was talking about.
