First you have work permit and non-b visa for three consecutive years, and that allows you to apply for permanent residency. The application review process can take up to 2 years though, and you have to keep maintaining visa and work permit
after this just keep working and paying taxes for another five years maintaining work permit (no need for visa at that point anymore) and you’ll get passport
