You need visa to enter Vietnam, you will get exempt stamp 30 days for Thailand

Im doing the same but Thailand as my home base, then go travel to different Asian country once a month to renew the exemption visa.

Korea

Japan

Philippines

Vietnam (majority of the time)

Singapore

we will more than likely be traveling to different countries for a long weekend once a month but want a main place to come back.

May - stay in Bangkok but possibly one of the weekend in that month we'll fly to Vietnam.

June - stay in Bangkok but maybe a weekend in that month we'll fly to Japan.

July - stay in Bangkok and visit Korea for weekend

August - stay in Bangkok but visit Philippines then come back to U.S.

Dec - back to Thailand till January.

May - Fully stay in Thailand for maybe a year. (With visa) this time around.

oh okay because we plan to go to Thailand for about 3 months as our main Base

Then travel to Vietnam, possibly Japan and or Korea then back to thailand. So we wanted to make sure that we won't need some type of visa.
