im currently in Thailand and have been to plenty of banks they are not interested at the moment for foreign accounts unless you have correct paper work

I didn't do one for my first 60 day stop, was never asked about it, then went to Vietnam came back another 60 days and nothing said, and i haven't been staying in hotel
