How is this even legal? How are we supposed to plan long term visas when they make up random rules. 😢

Can I switch from a COVID extension to another visa, or do I need to leave Thailand first?

Talked to someone who has a friend working in immigration and said they will most likely extend the covid extension again, but of course we never know for sure until just before. Seems likely they will at least one more time due to limited border run options but I’m planning for a long term option after that.

I can live very comfortably off of that here but I also don’t live in a villa or eat at expensive restaurants.
