most people don't bother with tm30 unless they are going to request an extension. I've never stayed anywhere that did one. But usually I leave without visiting immigration. I wondered why he was going to immigration when a property owner usually registers it online

think he said previously on another thread it was something to do with an existing health issue. 2 different insurers refused his claims. Either way, as he pointed out, with it resulting in no cover he had to max out his credit cards. Which is what will happen if people don't have cover to begin with.
