You can convert a tourist visa to a Non-O by yourself if you already meet the requirements. If not then there are plenty of agents that can do it for you, only you can decide if it’s worth the cost.

My branch of Bangkok Bank requires 5 working days to provide a 12 month statement.

Q1) To open a Bangkok Bank account you need a certificate of residency. You get this from your local immigration office.

Q2) Most branches require a 1 year lease agreement or proof of ownership on a property.

First stop is your local immigration office to get a list of the requirements needed for your extension. If you used an agent previously to bypass the financial requirements you are pretty much stuck with using an agent.
