I got an email saying they no longer do the affidavit for those things. I did one myself when I got here 3 years ago.

I'm well aware he needs his own visa. My wife has a non O visa thanks to me working. That's what I'm trying to get him

I've got long term visa so that's not an issue.and we've been here a while. Problem only started when banks changed their policies

I believe the fees are meant as a deterrent so large amounts of cash don't leave a country. So no matter what moving a lot of money is gonna come with a price tag

Scan pay is what I use more than the actual card

you didn't but it's equivalent in meaning. You even just said now. "Don't come if you don't like it". Its a terrible attitude and stops productive change which is what every country needs.

Also already here. And I had issues with visas to and not telling me what I needed. I had to double back and speak to another person just to find out what was wrong cause the first person wouldn't tell me. Rules should be clear that you can give a reason for denial of service, no matter where you go

In this regard, even though both are opposites, (leave the country if you don't like it) (it easier than other places to get in) they stem from the same problem.

Reluctance to improve

I'm ok with checks and balances and controlling traffic in an out. But it should be fair, consistent, transparent.

the issue isn't how easy it is to travel here. The issue is being complacent and not fixing problems.

Just because it's better doesn't mean it doesn't need fixing
