it's actually the opposite. The US citizens are shouting, "if you don't like it, then leave" instead of addressing and fixing issues.

that's just terrible advice. They absolutely should offer a reason. How else do you have transparency and fairness.

Countries make it too hard to travel. Enough of this mindset of suck it up buttercup. Make your country better. (This heavily applies to the United States, but is applicable everywhere)
