If you have previously done one in person in your current entry, you could do one online between 14 and 7 days before. Easy and takes only a few minutes to do. If not, you are probably good anyway. You will be leaving on the day. In worst case, you could be fined 2000 baht for missing it, but hard to imagine anyone pressing that when leaving the country the date of.

when were your last 2 visits to Laos for the same reason? That's an important part.

Myanmar/Burma is closed by land from Thailand at the moment. Several Laos borders with Thailand demand that you stay 2 nights before going back. The only way to go around that for sure is to use an agent that will take you there and back the same day.

said, some offices are okay even without one.. So go ask if for some reason you can't file a new one easily.

If your latest tm30 is from there. Meaning if you didn't travel internationally, or stayed somewhere else in Thailand that registered a tm30 on you, then you are fine. It's always only the latest tm30 that matters. If unsure, file a new one online or in person. Easy.

most offices allow the application when there are 30 days or less left on your current stamp. In Bangkok it's 45 days. A few allow it only within the last 7 days. You should edit your post to say where, as the answer could be different, depending on that.

if you apply at an embassy outside Thailand (e visa) the money can be in your bank in your home country. It does NOT have to already be in a Thai bank. When you later go to immigration inside Thailand to apply for a yearly extension, the money HAS to be in a Thai bank.
