I usually just look for the cheapest ticket that I can cancel within 24 hours for full refund to book and cancel once I arrive.

We are just trying to figure out our timeline after we get our license and certificate done to see if we have enough time to get it certified and extend our stay in US to get it done.

How long does it take on average for the marriage certificate to get verified/certified by the Secretary of State and department of justice in Washington DC?

I called the Thai consulate here told me that I need to get the US marriage certificate verified by both places in order for them to register it in Thailand as well.

I tried to call but couldn’t reach anyone at my Secretary of State office and the DOJ to find out their turn around time. Just auto responders.

I am not looking to apply for citizenship though, my goal is just to get the marriage registration then “marriage” visa. Is this different?

got it thank you, we were just looking into a 90 day visa for now since I don’t qualify for the “marriage” visa yet.

I have read and saw videos about the reporting every 90 days
