"NOTE that you can activate the visa any time with a simple "border run." Andreas: Wouldn't the border agent notice that the evisa was issued AFTER the holder was already stamped in?

The worse case would be them sending me the same email saying the same thing, without telling me anything new. Pointless to resend the docs if in fact they are not "quite as expected." Their software tells me they can see the docs, so that can't be it.
