When you mention "If he's on a non imm O or extention of stay he just needs covid insurance to enter", what does that mean? I am currently in Australia, I have a non imm O Visa, extended until mid July, which is based on marriage to a Thai. I have been told on another group that when I return I only need the 50k USD insurance until the end of my current extension, is this what you mean?

I seen a testing centre on Silom Road, opposite Silom Complex, not sure of cost and time frame for certificate

60 days since arriving in September, have you had any extensions since then, or are you on overstay? Your post wasn't clear about that.
