I have had two 12 month extensions for my "Thai Wife" visa, using the monthly income method and haven't had a problem. As the OP said, as long as you have the paperwork right, all is good. I'm lucky as far as the Buriram I.O goes, he's a really nice guy and very helpful.
Can't understand the responses to this post, perhaps the guy is staying a few days "in transit", I have done the same thing in the past, usually to break up the trip.
that is 🐂💩! There are other options for under 50's, working visa, education visa and I'm sure there are more, the problem is most of the under 50's want to stay long term, but choose to play the system and live here cheap and in some cases work illegally.
I know what a lot of the responses will be like, but here's my opinion. There are people who are unable to, or don't want to, obtain long term visa's, this is why some are playing the system. There are not many countries now that people can't return to, so it's time to stop the Covid extensions.
