VFS global check page will display the same message as SMS/email did, it doesn't say approved/rejected, so you have to wait for the passport to arrive.

This was the case for us when applying for a Schengen visa earlier this month.

not really, it was either that or I had to go to Bangkok to get proof of residency paper from embassy (which my country doesn't have, only consulate).

I had to pay 5900 thb for 1 year whatever insurance to open bank account with Bangkok bank in 2022.

Branch is located near walking street on beach road, Pattaya.

Went in to Bangkok hospital last year with pain in right side; MRT, CT and few tablets were around 500 eur for what it turned out to be kidney stones.

opened one yesterday with Bangkok bank near walking street in Pattaya.

Had a person who's not Thai citizen to translate.

They looked at my passport, it's new so no previous entry stamps were there, which they didn't like much.

The bank told me to get 1 year insurance with them or a letter from the embassy.

I didn't bother with the letter, paid 7100 (5900 insurance, 501 deposit, rest I guess is a card fee) and all done in about 20 mins.

arrived at 3pm, the test was done right after check in, and I got results at 10am.
