With the work conditions in Thailand it can be difficult to understand how you can do 6 month or more holiday, when most of them have 2 weeks holiday a year, and a 6-day workweek.

International up to 3 month are regarded as holiday.

If you are on a ED visa, then you shall study, thats what the visa is for. Only school holidays are free to do traveling.

If wanting to travel, get a tourist visa.

Simple as that.
Henrik *****
Which have to correspond with the number of days of the visa scheme she enters on, nothing special about that, it is a standard requirement.
Henrik *****
But will soon get problems if you keep on behaving like that.
Henrik *****
Why get a DTV if never been in Thailand, that is a peculiar way to behave, so that will of course make the Immigration doubt your intentions.

You have come to the end of visa exempt, and have to stay outside if Thailand for a long period, which can not come as a surprise, when you have been milking the visa system for too long.

Every body who repeatedly travels to Thailand knows the 3 requirements to get into Thailand as tourist,

money ( 20.000 Baht cash ),

A ticket out of Thailand within the visa period ( visa excempt = 60 days )

Hotel or other accomdation booking.

If not fullfilling those requirements, make you in admissible to enter Thailand.

Every entry into Thailand is on the discretion of the Immigration officer in front of you, and it will seldom chance anything to ask for a higher ranking officer, if you don’t have the 3 basic requirements in order.

Go back to your homecountry, and before visiting any other country, make sure you know the rules and laws of that country, so you don’t blatently ignore the requirements to stay as a guest in any country.

You experienced the “Bad boys out, good guys in” policy of Thailand.

Why not read the website of the Embassies in question, to know the excact requirements of those embassies.
Henrik *****
Nothing new in that.

There are different date formats in different parts of the world, and you have to make sure you use the Thai way.

The data un the machinereadable field at the bottom of the picturepage is the essential data.

Most embassies warn that errors in the passport data section will result in rejection and loss of the visa fee, since the Embassy has used time to evaluate the application.
Henrik *****
You can not use those status levels to predict anything about how long the application is in the visa proces, they can change both ways.
Henrik *****
Follow the recommendations of most Embassies, not to apply more then 3 months before departure, and many embassies process by departure date, and then you will not get the visa, until 1-2 weeks before departure, so nothing gained by applying longer than the recommended time.
