TLDR : Answer Summary
If you've lost your passport while processing a Thai E-Visa and received a new passport with a different number, you typically cannot change the passport number in your ongoing application. Most advice suggests waiting until your visa is approved before reporting the passport loss and contacting the Thai embassy for guidance on transferring your visa to the new passport. Alternatively, if you haven't submitted or paid for the visa application, you may just let it expire and submit a new application with the correct passport information.
What country issued the passports, that is, what nationality is your passport?

You cannot change it. You'll need to do a new application.

I don't think you can, I have the DTV and got a new passport, I presented both with no issues at BKK and got my DTV stamp. I hope you have at least a copy of your lost passport. I keep copies of everything, so yeah just present your copy of the old passport and the new one with your DTV visa. Or you could try emailing them through customer support, I wish you luck with that.

Do you have a police report something that can justify that you lost your passport while your application was in process. Would love to hear from you π

If I was you I would wait until you get the result. If you get the approval then you will contact the embassy and go there by yourself to transfer the visa to new passport . This is the process for this situation

Donβt think there is anything you can do. How did you lose your passport and receive a new one all after submitting e-visa but before getting the visa approved?

If you haven't submitted or paid then just let that application expire. Start a new application anytime with the correct/latest passport info.

Don't think there's much you can do about that. Do you have anything official from when applied for your new passport that provides details of your old passport? Normally if you get a new passport you just carry both passports for the duration but you won't be able to do that

I do not think it is possible to change the passport number in an ongoing application. This would possibly lead to a cancellation of the application. What I would do in your case: Wait until you get the visa before declaring the loss to the authorities where you reside and applying for a new passport. Then contact the Thai embassy where you applied and describe the situation ("My visa was approved, but I lost my passport"), and see what they suggest.

I've just realized that you already have a new PP. Which means the new PP was issued before the visa. That's a difficult situation, I think. Try to contact them.
