Hi, please can someone confirm the length of visa I will be given in November?

I have spent 3 months in Thailand January to April, 1 month in June.

Ideally would like 4 months, is this possible in any scenario?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquires about the length of visa they will receive in November after spending a total of four months in Thailand earlier in the year. The community discusses various visa options, indicating that a standard tourist visa may allow for extensions through border runs. The conversation highlights that there is no specific four-month visa available, and also emphasizes the necessity for the user to provide more details to receive accurate advice.

Nobody can say if or when the Immigration rules eventually will be changed.

Follow the Thailand Embassy website in your country, especially a month or so before departure.

no one “went off on you like a 10 year old”, no need to be melodramatic

You couldn’t have given any less information, if you need help on how to ask for help then an agent might be a good idea

you asked how long can you get on a visa, there are numerous visas you can apply for, as I said some details are required for people to help you. We cannot guess what you might be doing, it is not going on like a 10 year old boy as you said. But what you asked is like asking how long is a piece of string, or how much money is required to visit Thailand, the devil is in the details, so please be more specific when you are requesting some information.

As I understand you’ve spent 4 months in Thailand on visa exemptions in total this year and now you want to spend 4 more months.

If that’s the case you’ll need a visa. There’s no 4 months visa. You could apply for a six months multiple entries tourist visa and do a border bounce to get a 4 months stay or if you’re passed 50 years apply for a 90 days Non O visa and do a border bouncy with a transport company to get a 60 days visa exemption.

Hi Simon,

What are you talking about exactly? You wrote visa, but do you mean visa-exempt entry stamp by any chance? In this case, you will get 60 days if you come from one of the 93 countries in this list:

If not, please specify which visa, obtained from a Thai embassy/consulate abroad, you hold.

Various visa are different lengths of stay but I guess you don't get a visa but use visa exempt which is still 60 days then a 30 day extension.
