Your biggest problem will be to get a Thai bankaccount, even when it is for Non-O.

I would get a new passport now, before applying for visa.

Some are terrible cooks, and will never learn.
Henrik *****
Why do you think Immigration Officers are not allowed to ask questions.

Would you like to work 10 - 12 hours, and have to refrain from speaking to your customers.

If you do things the right way, there is nothing to fear.
Henrik *****
No, there are so many personal variables that nobody can predict anything on basis of the given data.

Contact a number of health insurers, and compare.

Normaly changes in the visa rules will not be announced long time before they will become official, but only a few days ahead at the earliest.

2024, the rules where different depending if you arrived before or after 16.00.
Henrik *****
Look at the lokal Immigration Office’s website, for information, there you will get the actual information, from that office, since there are different how the Immigration Offices handle the situation.

Some places you can get it almost from the beginning of the stay in Thailand, other places not until after 3 month, which is the “by the book” way.

It also depends of what you need the certificate for.

For 3 month you don’t need a DTV, just visa exempt og 30 days extension.

Read the website of the Thai embassy, for information from a reliabel source
Henrik *****
Do not leave the country you apply in, until the visa is granted.

You will make it easy for the Embassy to reject the application, and loose the 10.000+ baht fee.
Henrik *****
But for ED you have to be actually studying, and attend classes or you will breach the visa conditions.
