Depends where you come from, Visa Exempt, 45 days took me 4 mins to go through immigration and walk right through customs

Here’s my experience last time I was there I showed up an hour early to be told come back tomorrow your best bet is to get there an hour early

It’s taking a gamble but if they require an on board ticket you have a phone in your hand just book it that’s what I did when I went to the Philippines and they required me to have it I just booked up within 10 minutes just get to the airport a little early…. Or a book a ticket That is refundable

never been asked in 7 years to Thailand, 1st time ever asked was on way to Philippines booked right there in airport

Keep in mind visa exempt gives you 30 days and you can get a 30 day extension so you could spend the first 60 days in Thailand and then MoveOn

The way those things worked for me was I gave you 30 day extension and a presumptive another 30 days extension but you had to go down again
