The extension of my ED visa ends Aug 20. But I also have a notification of residence date for Aug 17. I'll be applying for covid extension soon. So I have to go do all this before Aug 17 right? What do I need to bring to do notification of residence? My landlord needs to do something too?

TLDR : Answer Summary
You need to prepare for your notification of residence before August 17, as your ED visa extension ends on August 20. To file the notification, bring your passport, 2 passport photos, and a completed TM30 form along with copies of your passport's bio and Thai stamps. You may also need a map of your home location and pictures demonstrating your residence, all including you. Note that your landlord may need to assist with the process. If you're switching to a covid extension, visit immigration for specific requirements, as switching from an ED visa only guarantees a 30-day extension.

They still have extensions for Covid

90 day report is due 7 days before or after the date and does not relate to the visa. Just do the report if nothing has changed.

Show up give them the passport.

Phuket immigration requires the list below OR MORE depending on the officer, the info below is a guideline.

Most should be similar but go in and see.

If you intend to try and switch to a covid extension, I would recommend you get into immigration and get the info you need.

Switching to covid from an "ED" will only get you a 30 day extension.

You will require 2 sets of everything.

2 passport photos

4 forms - tm7, stm2, covid and overstay acknowledgement

Passport copies- bio and thai stamps (Ed and extension)

Tm30 address registration

Map to home location

Pictures outside home clearly showing address numbers or hotel

Picture outside doorway with number showing

Picture inside

All pictures must include you.

It is not a given you will be granted a stay, have a plan B.

wow thank you. Do I have to still do 90 day report if I exit Thailand and come back on a tourist visa?

Is the 90 day report called the TM47? I already did my TM30 so I can just do it online?

@Garry *****
you should do the 90 day report on the 17th. If you re-enter on a 30 or 60 day, no need.
