TLDR : Answer Summary
You can extend your 30-day visa on arrival in Thailand for an additional 30 days at an immigration office for 1900 baht. If you are seeking a longer stay, you can apply for a 60-day Covid extension until July 25th, but this is subject to approval and requires additional verification. After the extension, you must leave the country or apply for a long-term visa to remain legally.

Why not get a 60 day visa from your country? Will save several hours extending at Thai immigration.

If you are already in Thailand, you can always contact TVC, they can assist you with the extension of your visa.

Immigration gives an initial 15 day Verification Period (1900 Bahts) , where they mostly check for Criminal history; then must go back to the Immigration office, to get another 45 days 😊 ( = 60 days total)
The way those things worked for me was I gave you 30 day extension and a presumptive another 30 days extension but you had to go down again

You can get a 30 day extension at immigration for 1900 baht. After that you have to leave or change to a long-term visa.

I'm also guessing you have a visa exemption stamp and not a visa on arrival.
Same thing applies, though.

You’re on a visa exempt entry if you got 30 days. You can extend that once for 30 days.
Once you’re on that extension you can apply for a Covid extension up until July 25th. These are not guaranteed as up to the discretion of the office(r).

My biggest surprise is that they can find this group but can't find visa extention information...
considering that it’s all one click and search away, I liken it to a bartender serving you a glass and bottle and you requesting from the bartender that the glass be moved to the correct position relative to the plate on the table.
yes. Easily confused between the two. Many assume visa exempt IS visa on arrival as they get a stamp in their passport. Most don’t realise there’s a big difference between the two.
