Thanks for that. As you mentioned, each IO is different. One important aspect regarding the Jomtien IO is those birds require the 800K to be seasoned for the 60 days when you make the initial application for a change to a Non-O.....,...not when you apply for the one- year extension. You would not believe the physical & financial grief that particular point has cost me. I would had simply moved to Phuket to circumvent their cock-eyed rule, but I had just had double total knee replacement and was/am having a troubled extended recovery and serious immobility.

Out of that my doctor requested a total of 180 days medical extension (2 X 90). All Jomtien gave me out of those 2 request was 30 days. Take my lesson to heart and do not dare to get medical work done within their district that would require a medical extension and involve immobility. Rant over.

As I already said, I do not care what you think. It is beyond ludicrious if you think I do not know how they have treated me. If you had any sense and if you ACTUALLY cared to know, you could search my post across several Thai Visa forums and see what they have done. That is up to you. I really could not give a rats azz what you do or what you think. Go stir up some sh#t elsewhere with someone else if you do not mind. Have a nice day and bugger off if you do not mind. Blocking on.

I could write a book about them birds. Believe me or not. I do not really care if you do not care to know the truth. Have a nice day.

Very good to know. Thanks for that. IMO, the absolute worst and most corrupt is Jomtien. I would advise steering well clear of that bunch.

Kind thanks my friend. I try to be humble, respectful, and unassuming here on the groups, but I have lost my cool a few times! Ha Ha! Good luck and safe travels!

No duty on one 1 liter bottle. Plus that is the limit allowed in. That is my understanding anyway. I am no great expert. If I am incorrect, about 20 gentlemen will tell us muy pronto! Ha Ha!

Bring one liter of your favorite liquor. The same stuff is 2 to 3 times the price here. One bottle is all they allow in.

It is my understanding wai's should be returned if offered by anyone. Plus a person should learn the different meanings relative to how high your Wai is.

I see three 7-11's at that university area. One two blocks east of the ball field, one next to the swimming pool, and one to the west just on the other side of the freeway that bounds the university. May be that one of the 7-11s is the one you referenced?
