At Bangkok office, you only need it when you check in you 90 day again after your reentering and when you renew your yearly extension.

I know one person who has foriegn currency saving at Kringsri. The bank provides no saving bankbook, so he goes by his monthly statement. Chang Wattana office been very helpful, but you need to put more than 800,000 just to be safe (850,000-900,000) They do check the exchange rate roughly as long as it is a lot more than 800,000, it should be okay.

Many condo manager has the app and can file your tm.30 online for you.

Thai post office EMS international is on a par with DHL. They cost around the same price. Both have a reliable tracking system. Don't send by the Thai snail mail tho, it takes more than 3 weeks to the US.

But if I have to choose, go for the DHL

Because your agent sends your passport along with the bribes to the immigration office without your presence, other IO such as those at Chang Wattana can check it instantly and will not deal with you at all. But you can travel thru the airport, no arresting, despite they also know you didn't get the retirement yourself. They may ask some questions tho.
