The Immigration offices especially in Bangkok and Pattaya like Business and PR/Permenant Residence sections are the worst ever. F** those ba** stards, they just make everything harder and wait much longer sometimes 7-8 hours of waiting after several weeks of document collections. In provinces everything is soooo much easier. Should do the government tasks outside of Bangkok.

 its just every process from buying anything involves at least 3 people and umpteen paper exchanges. Yesterday ( it only took 5 mins) I extended my visa- I filled out a form 5 people passed it from one to the other. Then I paid cash to the cashier. Then sit down for a few minutes and 6th guy calls and hands back paper and passport. And that was easier than buying a plastic box at Gaisano lol!

A Tm47 is a 90 day report. This is not a new process. Every foreigner (except new 10 year LTR) must do a 90 day report.

 you need to be on the type of visa that requires 90 day reports. If you are on short term or tourist visas/extensions you don't do them.

Been here 14 years I know what’s going on and I’m guessing you use an agent so that’s that and eventually you’ll pay 1600 baht for not doing a 90 day report good luck,and if your data page is readable but you visa isn’t that’s still ok ??

I told the guy with watered passport that it’s ok if the data of your pour first page is not damaged. BECAUSE I had a consultation about it with the immigration and the embassy! So before making some conclusions and offend me, read carefully !
