TLDR : Answer Summary
The estimated taxi fare from Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK) to Don Mueang Airport (DMK) varies considerably among users. Some report paying around 2,400 THB plus tolls, while others suggest that fares closer to 500 THB are more typical for a regular taxi from the official taxi queues. It is recommended to always use the meter and consider using ride-sharing apps like Grab or Bolt. Additionally, there is a free shuttle available between the two airports if you have a flight ticket for Don Mueang.

Piss poor planing on your part. You should have already had all your flights booked. But yes, sorry the taxi cheated you.

For your future reference the shuttle bus between DMK and BKK is free if you can show flight bookings or 30bt without flight bookings

It’s brutal price but difference between missing a flight we would all pay it ….if you wouldn’t then needed to work harder in a previous life 😜👍🏻🤷🏻♂️
that's right! i was looking on my phone and saw don mang had one rather than me wait hours. so i jumped in taxi and booked on route! What is your problem?
thanks guys. as i thought i've been ripped off big time! I didn't have time to argue because i was in a rush for my flight! These taxi drivers are a disgrace
Oh wow, thats brutal. 🥺 They were fine during covid but are seemingly back to their old ways. Always insist on using the meter and take a photo of their taxi license which should be posted in full view.
exactly or just drive on. i've had this numerous times! some of these comments on here are ridiculous! i had to catch a flight i had no time to argue, try another taxi. The point is taxi's at the airport are ripping people off time and time again!
here is what you must do. Upon exit you go to the AOT taxi desk. They are honest and transparent I have used this this system for 20 years never once had a problem
